Each lawyer is “scored” by their peers, with Jennifer’s score ranking among the highest 20 scores for San Antonio Top Family Lawyers.

Jennifer’s exceptional legal experience in family law encompasses areas such as divorce, child support, and child support modifications. As an advocate and advisor, she provides fair and honest representation to her clients. Beyond her legal practice, Jennifer serves on the Board of Directors for the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

In addition to her legal accomplishments, Jennifer is a founding member of the Family Law Bar Association and was elected as a Foundation Fellow by the San Antonio Bar Association (SABA) in 2022. Born and raised in San Antonio, Jennifer is deeply invested in making a positive impact within her community. Apart from her legal practice, Jennifer worked as a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Texas in San Antonio (UTSA) for six years, training future lawyers in the University’s lauded Summer Law School Preparation Academy. Despite her busy schedule, Jennifer has remained committed to mentoring students and hosts accredited internships at her law office through UTSA.

This marks Jennifer’s second consecutive year being named one of the top family lawyers by Scene in SA. She has also been repeatedly recognized as one of the best women in law by the magazine.

We are thrilled to announce our recent victory in the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals!

A three-judge panel carefully considered and rejected twelve separate appellate issues, ultimately affirming the trial court’s child support award in its entirety.

The Fourth Court’s opinion is significant for several reasons. The decision is especially important for parents of children with increased needs. The Fourth Court makes clear that trial courts have broad discretion to consider and provide for educational expenses and health needs when awarding above-guideline child support.
